Mary Shelly's Frankenstien: Poster Analyisis

This poster is mostly black, symbolising death and fear. The white light shining down the middle highlights the image of a body in mid air, sinuating that that is Frankenstien as well as identifying what the audience is soon to be afraid of. The use of a shadow underneath the body also creates fear as it looks eary as well as it reminding the audience of their childhood when they were afraid of the dark and the shadows within them. The title of the film being under the main image also draws attention promoting the film. This is White and therefore catches the audiences eye instantly, this is simular to the credit block and the actors names as the top of the poster. All advertising appropriatly for the film.
