The weather in this image is dull, full of stormy clouds and has a death feel to it due to its dark colour and black pigmentation. This contrasts with the flames at the bottom of the poster which enforces the idea of pain and links to the title 'Drag me to hell' as hell is often thought of as a place filled with fire at the earths centre. The main image is of a girl screaming which tells the audience that this is the main character in this film and that this character is being targeted by something. The hands holding her and pulling her down emphasises the 'Drag' part of the title, and tells the reader where this evil force is coming from (Hell). The white writing against this allows the title of the film to stand out and therefore promotes the film. As the title and the tag line are the only white features on this poster it draws attention to the film and catches the audience's eye.
